The Genesee County Republican Party is proud to announce their 2024 Lincoln Day Dinner, featuring Republican National Committee Chair Michael Whatley as Keynote Speaker, along with Special Guest, Michigan Republican Party Chair Pete Hoekstra! This exciting event will be held on Friday, June 14th at 7:00 PM at The Captain’s Club Golf and Event Center in Grand Blanc. Keynote Speaker Michael Whatley is a lawyer from North Carolina who has served as chair of the Republican National Committee since March of 2024 after receiving President Trump's endorsement earlier in the year. Previously, Whatley served as chair of the North Carolina Republican Party for five years, the last year of which he also served as the RNC's general counsel. Chair Whatley is one of the foremost national leaders working to help Republicans win the White House, take back the U.S. Senate, and increase the Republican Majority in the U.S. House of Representatives this fall.
Special Guest Pete Hoekstra served as the United States Ambassador to the Netherlands during President Trump's first term in office, from 2018 to 2021 and previously served as the U.S. Representative for Michigan's 2nd Congressional District from 1993 to 2011. Chair Hoekstra is leading the charge as Michigan Republican Party Chair to elect Republicans up and down the ballot in Michigan!
